Your PowerPoint slides are NOT your tele-prompter! In other words – do NOT read the words off your slides. A tele-prompter is a great tool for making speeches. But it only works when the audience does not see the words you are reading.

If you are good at recording those key holiday moments in a picture that when a year later the narrative that led up to that snap comes back to you then you know how to choose a picture that inspires you, the speaker, to say something memorable and for your audience… a week or a month later… to trigger that moment for them. Nothing else matters? Just think if your pics are wikileaked will they have a positive impact?
